Acorns From Oakes

Seeing With Our Father's Eyes

Traveling

For the next nine days or so…I am to be out of town. First in Alabama for some kingdom work…a little teaching and preaching…and perhaps a little dry-walling or handyman-type stuff around the church building in Bayou La Batre.

Then, on the way back home, I get dropped off in Bowling Green, KY to visit my Kentucky grandkids for a couple of days.

I hope to be able to check in once in a while on the trip.

I love you guys and gals. God richly bless you and keep you and all yours. D

  1. May God bless your work and your travels. May He hold you safely in His hands…every day.

Enjoy your trip…and especially the g-kids!

  2. HURRY HOME AS WE MISS YOU. EVEN THOUGH WE DON’T SEE YOU EVERY DAY – YOU ARE FURTHER AWAY FROM US. I DON’T LIKE SO MANY MILES AWAY FROM YOU DOUG ESPECIALLY AS WE GET OLDER.

I THINK OF ADRIAN OFTEN AND TAMMY OF COURSE. I WISH I COULD SEE THEM AROUND HERE WITH US AGAIN. BUT THAT IS A SELFISH WISH FOR ME AS I SURE HOPE THEY ARE MORE PEACEFUL WITH THEIR GOD.

  3. I’m with Gail … hurry home … we miss you !!!
